Sand Archiecture

What can passion and talent achieve? Building castles with the sand for example. The sand is not a conventional material for architecture, nor is it easy to master, but it in the hands of Calvin Seibert, it turns into these minutely constructed buildings, which the tides eventually sweep away. They don’t last long, obviously, but we can think of Calvin’s art as of yet another reminder that beauty is short-lived, therefore we must enjoy it while it lasts.
