You need 30 minutes of some spare time to watch this movie and you’d better find them, because the documentary is really inspiring.
Some skateboard aficionados decided to skate their way on the old Silk Road, starting from Beijing, China, all the way through the less popular countries of Central Asia: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan.
The aim is to discover new land for skating, cities where this sport is mostly unknown, unpracticed and to make it popular to the people living in them. But what the guys accomplish is more than that: discovering new cultures, making new friends in the most unlikely places and essentially enriching their life experience.
The documentary is a beautiful visual travel story, with some skateboarding on the side, in places you have never imagined before.
